I have academic degree, I’ve manage to learn many not trivial topics so why not learn how to play a guitar? :-) First step is to buy one. I didn’t want anything extraordinary, just electric guitar. After talking to my friends I started to go through auctions with this kind of equipment. I knew from the begining that I won’t buy new one. I didn’t want powerfull amplifier either. Kind of lucky I found auction with both used guitar and amplifier. It’s playable… Some work must be done with it, but as for now everything sounds good (not always :-)).
Epiphone Junior (Les Paul) with amplifier (Epiphone Studio-10EQX) and cable.
Picks and guitar-pc connector (Neutrik).
With all accessories (cable, stand, pc conncector) it costed me about 450 PLN (which is about 160 USD; guitar + aplifier = 110 USD).
